Muralists of Oakland Launch
Wednesday, September 18, 2024. Crybaby, 1928 Telegraph Ave, Oakland.
The story
The Uptown Downtown Oakland Community Benefit Districts and Oakland Central invited the community to the screening of Muralists of Oakland, a documentary series that shows how artists reshape the look and feel of public space. The series goes behind the art and the artists, and the voices and culture of Oakland.
VibeHauss produced the launch as a community activation: an evening of community, art and celebration at Crybaby in Downtown Oakland, on Wednesday, September 18, 2024.
